CSI with mods and DLCs or vanilla CSII?
What do you prefer? I'm considering installing CSI back until some of the major bugs are fixed (at least the economy one)

You can if you level up buildings close to it. Eventely it will be only high and medium density demands.

CS1, this is too buggy right now, a flawed economy system just kinda makes building a city pointless if either nothing can go wrong, or what does go wrong you cant fix.

CS2 is in a completely different league - all it's missing is some polish and a few key mods that we all loved from CS1.

If you don't believe me try the stuff in this vid to get a feel for what it will be possible once mods arrive and the performance issues get fixed: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gxJI7LO2CWc

Once CS2 gets some of the mods like Find It, Move It, etc., it will blast CS1 clean out of the water and you'll never want to play CS1 again.

Paradox messed up big time by forcing CO to release too early resulting in review bombs. Idk how long it's going to take CO to get it all sorted but once they do this game has freaking huge potential.

I've been getting an itch to go back to CS 1, with only graphic mods, all dlc and some CC packs.

I've lost a little bit of interest with CS 2 and I just want to wait and see if they will fix/change the economy. I really love the road tools (they are incredible), the scale and the high density buildings, but that is about it right now.

C:S2 for sure. Yes, performance issues are still there but some they bother more, some less.

Game mechanics are far more complicated and game is more challenging in many aspects People cry BUG when in fact they just haven't figured out how the game exactly works. Namely cargo exports and garbage for example.

Some people will lick boots no matter what. It's been proven time and time again that the economy is not working properly, even from the developer's mouth.

Some people won't even notice, all they wanna see is the numbers go up.

I like CS2 and I think the chassis is far better, but wait for v1.2 (like most games these days unfortunately). I started building a city in CS2 and realised I couldn't set dedicated turning lanes at a crossroads so decided to stop before I got too into it. CS1 plus key DLCs and mods (even just TM:PE and anarchy) plays much better in general.

My problem with CS1 is that I couldn't resist using a massive number of mods. It got to the point were I was spending more time managing mod problems then I spent playing the game. So I finally just gave up.

CS2 is much more relaxing. :)

CS2 content is sparse though, unless you like seeing the same building everywhere.

Yeah I agree. It will be interesting to see if the new mod system works. I would have preferred that they remained with Steam.

CS1 wasn't any different.

You realise this game will end up being exactly the same eventually lol
