Geothermal plant overload despite overproducing
I am producing 297 MW and consuming 81 MW;

However I am exporting 217 MW for reasons I do not fully understand. Because of that my plant is overloaded and half my city has no power. Only solution is stop exporting by deleting the landline, which is a total waste.

What am I missing ? I would assume export to be based on what I left after consumption, is there an option somewhere I missed ?

To fix it put a power transformer at the other end of the grid,after the overload point. It will help evenly distribute the power more. The overload is basically just a bunching up of power is all.

I am not sure what you mean by overload point, the plant itself is overloaded.

The plant itself? If you go to the electrical overlay it should show the overload point on the power grid somewhere. I stress should. Also check the help menu. I believe it covers overloads there a little bit. I actually forgot about the help menu with an issue I had with roads.

Yep the plant itself, I had no bottleneck anywhere. But anyway thanks for the advice, indeed adding 2 transformers mitigated the issue somehow, I supposed it means u cannot just use low voltage connection.

Glad you got it sorted.
