Invalid Platform (solved)

When launching the game from WIndows Steam, I used to get an error message "INVALID PLATFORM"

Solution:

• Right-click on Cities2.exe, properties, and compatibility. Tick "disable fullscreen optimizations" untick every other box in that dialog, Apply, and exit.
• Then in the launcher Game Settings menu, select the fullScreen display mode, Vsync off, and cap refresh rate at 60.
