Pedestrian crossings are overly used it needs fixing

Hello whenever I build footpaths I want it so that I can build them over the roads making the road have less traffic jams, I have 20,000 citizens in a city and the roads automatically place pedestrian crossings causing traffic jams.


Please can you make it so we can remove pedestrian crossings?

You can remove pedestrian crossings.

Select the pedestrian crossing tool, right click the road. Sometimes have to wiggle it a bit on the road when right clicking.

It doesn't specifically say anything about removing them.

But if you select the crosswalk tool (assuming you have unlocked it), then hold right-click on a road with a crossing. The road should get a green outline and the cross walk disappears. Let go of right-click to confirm the removal.

As mentioned, whilst holding right-click you sometimes need to move the mouse up and down the road to find the right spot.
