Which CS1 Mod Is Needed The Most For CS2?
We all know the mods from CS1 made the simulator into what it is today and that CS2 is bland, frustrating, and in need of a ton of improvements/upgrades. Let's face it - what CS1 became is now the creative standard we're all used to. That being said, which mod do you think is needed the most in this early stage? My vote goes to Algernon's TMPE. I hate the current street management system or mainly a lack of it. There are no real choices for lane direction, traffic light management, or signs management, or everything else that TMPE provides. What CS2 "supposedly" incorporated for traffic management is of little to no help whatsoever.

I used quite a few mods back in CS1, but I'd say the ones that I would consider absolutely essential is/were: TM:PE, Node Controller, Move IT (though the in-game moving seems to work pretty well in CS2), the one that let you paint lines on the roads after using things like Node Controller, Network Multitool, and a couple of others whose names escape me at the moment. But the first two I mention are really critical to me. Hopefully once they turn on modding for the game, those will be mods that get ported over. 🤞

TMPE, though network multitool is a very close second. I just think at the present I'd get more utility out of getting traffic to behave in a predictable manner rather than slopes and curves made easy.

Even then I don't find CS2's slope/curve tool works as well as CS1's mods. CS2's tunnelling capability is as much fun as drinking cod liver oil at this point.

none, as they dont fix the largest issue which is that most everything in the game isnt working as it should. the sim is an absolute joke.. i wonder if they can actually fix the game, right now it is nothing more than a city painter with no functionality whatsoever
