Bring back the ability to actually name streets and control where those streets go, why isn't this in the base game?
I've not had any issues with the names randomly changing on their own, but it often happens when you're building new roads etc. Like if I have 1st Avenue running north to south and Alpha Street running east-west and happen to connect them together, it'll make the whole thing either 1st Avenue or Alpha Street. Then when I extend one of them, it'll split the name again but with a new randomly assigned name.
For now I think we just need to be careful when building roads. Though it is annoying that you can end up with a street name that goes on and on until it terminates in a T junction or similar. Even with a Y junction, the name of the road that forks will continue up one of the branches.
As a side note, if you've renamed a street and you build a bus stop, the bus stop gets named after the original street name, not the one you set it to (I've reported this).
