unreliable mail service in CS2

only 5 of 30 trucks are leaving the post office, how matter how much I build.
Now I have -6 in happiness.
any fix?

You need to cover the city with post offices not only post boxes. I learned this today. When you have not enough post offices, also the distribution center will not help.

I have 12 for 11k city. all streets are light green with post offices. but still only 8k of 35k will be picked up.

Leave mail boxes all over roads that are red to make them green which means great coverage. If all your roads are green then you have covered the entire area and it will reduce over time

I also have a bunch of post offices, mail boxes and sorting facilities but nothing really helped.

What actually was an immediate improvement for me was to Turn Off the Cargo Train Terminal after I noticed it had 120+ tons of local mail.

After I did the switch, the mail service actually turned out to be reliable.
