Parking ticket cost
How do I figure out how much I need to charge for my parking lots to make them profitable or break even?

monthly upkeep / ticket price x required car amount.

If I have a full 200 car garage and get $10 a car does that mean 2k a month or every time a car comes in and out it’s $10? Is there any info panel for this?

I honestly have most of mine set to $15 and they havent complained much.

The fee I THINK is one time just like in reality. Cant think of a parking structure with a fare that hits you twice.

Increase cost when the garage is full.

So $10x160 a day equals $44800 a month if they're using 28-day months (I haven't checked). $22400 if it's half-full. $33600 to $67600 at $15 a day. I don't know if it's one fee per day or one fee each time they park, which could double or triple it.

Parking lots are like, what, $17000/month with the car wash? Yeah, they're revenue generators even at the base fee as long as they're being used.

There's an idea: check how wealthy the neighbourhood is, and adjust the fee from there. "Welcome to Payville Heights, the most pleasant neighbourhood in the city."

i set all my parking lots to 50$ and they still fill up nicely. i do also charge 50$ for roadside parking. i do have some good and cheap bus routes and all my mass transit is priced 10$ or lower, needless to say, mass transit adoption is through the roof!

Wrong. 10x160 a day equals 1600 a month. Because game month lasts one day. But it can be per hour. Since game references to hours when shows you profit on bottom panel and in some other places.
