The Tampere map has the largest buildable area, out of the currently available maps, at 66%. Is the one right in the middle of the map selection screen.

It is also very flat, with no mountains and gentle slopes across the map, making building anything very easy anywhere at ground level.

I bought only the base game.

Thought about getting the Ultimate version but decided that some of the content was not to my liking so I will just buy the DLCs that I want piece meal instead.

The other main thing about Tampere, is it seems to be the only map that is very good for wind turbine power generation.
So far as I can tell all the other maps are not that good for wind turbines.

Tampere has the most and was a pre-order bonus. Flood something is second with 53%, and San Fran and Delta are third with 43%

I like the map with the island and then the mainland...

Barrier Island , 2nd map.

But it becomes flat and boring after a while.... and there is no wind for windmills so you have to go with Geothermal.
