It takes a lot longer to have traffic problems in this game, but boy when they do come.
I think pat of it is them filling the lanes, much likes in real life, they fill the lane THEN ♥♥♥♥ UP TRAFFIC WHEN THEY GET TO THEIR TURN JUMPING 3 LANES. It's kind of hilarious and frustrating watching it.
I don't think I've seen a car stop for no reason, usually it was to make a weird turn.

I can confirm that they did this by design to simulate more creative interpretations of traffic law and to be more inclusive of creative maneuvers that people pull on streets. It was in a Dev Diary and a short YouTube video snippet of Roads.
Well, let me put it this way. I am not a fan of this. Waiting for mods to correct this I guess.
LOL. I’m sure city planners and traffic engineers aren’t fans of it in real life either.
