I was wondering this myself. I have an abundance of wood but I’m not selling any from the looks of it. Maybe none of my neighboring cities need wood either? I’ve been trying to get a surplus of a more finite resource or something to see if that exports but I haven’t managed to do so yet. So much demand :(

Just make sure you have outside connections. Once you unlock cargo ship and cargo train build those asap

There is no option to do it.
Normally it happens automaticly.

They will ship all the overproduce with trucks from neighboring cities, also the cargo port dosn't export for me (ships leave empty and only import stuff).
Funny though is that my neighboring cities sent waste trucks to collect all my garbage for free. I know it's a bug but still XD

For you it's for free, but your citizens pay for it themselves :)
Which means, they have less money to buy resources of any kind and that could lead to commercials saying 'Not enough customers'.

known bug. Also applies to cargo trains.

Does this mean it works fine for cargo planes?
