Connecting water pipe and sewage pipes is so difficult

How can you not get it right? They snap automatically. What are you doing, any pics of the issue?

Same for me. I can never tell where I need to end the pipe for them to connect so every new connection ends up a mess. Can't just delete the extra piece either. That destroys the connection!!!

Start from the building you want to connect. It snaps to connection and then pull the pipe towards a road and it snaps again when you are at the right spot.

It really is that simple.

sorry, but it couldn't be easier. Some buildings also need roads, but not everything. In villages it can get twisted and you have to take the other road.

I had a similar problem when I first tried it. I no longer do. I forget why. I think it may have something to do with the snapping settings.

Top down view is best, not had this issue personally as my pipes snap to connect.

Show a pic or a video. In my game pipe snaps into place from about 15 to 20m away and always works.

Couldn't be easier.

Would be easier , if they add a sound effect , that shows you if its connected , or not connected.

+1, but most of time you don't need to do that, so that is fine for me

I can't get the pipes to connect either. I've played city-building games since the original Sim City. Cities Skylines 2 is absolute garbage. The pipe connecting is broken, and the graphics look like they're from the 90s. This game is horrible.
