Installed an older driver for nvidia 3070

Ill report if it helps in due course

I had the latest installed i heard it causes problems.......

I have the same card with driver 537.42 from Sep 21st. I'll follow this.

I have had no crashes with driver version 472.12

I have done all the suggested settings also i get 45-60 fps

No crashes yet finally

Ill tweak gfx settings higher as time goes on pls all report

you should report that to devs / nvidia support it can either be on Nvidia side or maybe a bug on game devs side

Only thing so far is a millisecond freeze autosaving now and again im going to up the gfx from low-med to med - high see how it runs

try this

run DDU driver display uninstaller and install a clean version of the latest driver
its possible driver files got corrupted. if this doesnt work though then go back to old drivers and send a bug report to both Nvidia and game devs

it sounds like driver crashes which results in game crash

no need to at this point its running just not sure how to tell nvidia or paradox hopefully seer this post

i cant say if they check this forum or not maybe they have someone that does but i dont know this its always best to make reports though at their officail site

What's the reason to go back to older drivers, please? Are newer drivers bugged?

Anyway, I'll try the game with the normal drivers first and see how it goes, but thanks for the tip!

Global illumination turned back off seems more stable so far gfx still med - high

Makes sense, if there are problems.

I don't think I've seen CS2 featured in any of the recent Nvidia drivers, which is common with many AAA games (although this is a niche game), so maybe the next one will be optimized for it. Fingers and toes crossed!
