actual system requirements?
Im confused by the posted system requirements in the games store page as the minimum requirements seem to be higher than the recommended requirements (how can recommended be lower than minimum, so what are the actual minimum sys requirements for this to run at a playable speed?).

Im interested in this game but due to the number of negative reviews regarding performance, I am not willing to shell out £42 without at least a chance to try the game in some kind of demo or trial mode before purchasing as I made this terrible mistake years ago with Sim City and The Sims 4.

I have an i7 12700KF, 64Gb Ram plenty of hard disk space, Windows 11, GeForce RTX 3060 seems some of the comments people have higher spec PCs but are still having problems with stability?

Give it a try. I'm running it successfully on medium-high graphics with an i7-9700k and RTX2070 super.

You can test up to 2 hours and still refund.

Anywho... refunds... it's a thing on Steam.

With 50,000 people, I'm getting 24 FPS and honestly most of the time, I don't notice the low FPS. It's a sim game, not an FPS.

The bugs are real, though, and it does need some fixes. If you are worried, wishlist it and buy it later after some patches and they add DLSS3+/FSR3? but I'm having a lot of fun right now.

People telling the game runs « fine » play at low res with medium graphics

might just wait a while for it to be on sale (or for bugs to be fixed). refuse to pay £42 for a game with a load of bugs in it!
I know you can get a refund on games if you haven't played them for very long but its just the hassle of doing so!

Did you really just bump a 3 day old post asking about system requirements to complain about bugs? Also, for the record, it's extremely easy and fully automatic to get a refund for a game on Steam.
