Help!! I can't see when placing roads.
Every time I get into the road tools I have an yellow-orange screen that nearly blocks out everything. It's like some sort of weird filter and I can't turn it off. I can see some of the zoning tiles, and sorta see where the roads are, but it doesn't give me anything to work with when trying to place a road.... SUPER annoying and I can't play the game because the map basically disappears when I try to build a road. All I see is orange....

I tried pressing "i" and also closing out of the road menu in the upper right-hand corner, and neither of those things helped....

How do I see the map regularly while trying to use the road tool?

I have a overlay but i don't see yellow... Not by accident underground placement turned on? check the height of the placement. When placing a road make sure your value is at "0" and not minus.

i have the same issue. Of when i click on placing a road an overlay appears and makes it impossible for the other roads or buildings to be seen. The value is always at 0 no matter what i'm placing and the dark orange overlay always appears

I have this same problem. I try hitting "I" and the overlay does not disappear. I also have the problem when trying to place a sewer pipe. I hope someone knows what the solution is, because if there is no fix then this game is unplayable to me.

Okay on closer examination I think it's not an overlay that's appearing but rather some kind of graphics issue. So long as "dynamic resolution quality" was disabled, the game displays fine in regular mode, but when I click on the road-building tool or sewer-pipe building tool, everything goes yellow or white and I can't see what I'm doing. I've tried setting most every graphics setting to low or very low and turning various things on or off, but so far nothing seems to work. Does someone happen to know a settings tweak I can try or am i doomed. I admit, I am trying to run this on a laptop with an integrated Intel Xe, but I can't help suspecting that there must be a way to make this work.

You probably have an unsupported integrated GPU and should refund if possible, as per the developer.

I suspected it might come to that, which is super disappointing. I figured the chance of a solution was slim but I wanted to at least ask. Thanks for the additional info.
