For some of us the game will run great. I have a Ryzen 7 5800x, 64GB DDR4, and a RTX 2080 which is not all that awesome of a graphics card, and the game runs 40+ fps on HIGH settings which is more than acceptable for this type of game. It is not MW3 which needs higher fps understandably. For some of you it will not run good at all until you upgrade your PC, WHICH THEY EVEN TOLD YOU WOULD MOST LIKELY BE NECESSARY! This is also the nature of pc gaming these days. Those of us who've played games for 30+ years have ALWAYS had to do some upgrading as the years progress in order to meet minimum specs for games. This is nothing new. Why such outrage? Seriously.
Since covid people have become much too obnoxious and quick to gripe and lose their patience over just about everything in life, including something designed and produced for the intent of enjoyment. Relax, enjoy the game for what it is at this moment, and have faith that they will support this game just as they did CS1.
For any of you that are on the fence... Buy the game. Out of the box it is better than CS1 loaded with mods and assets to make it playable and look great. The game is worth the investment. Just my two cents...
The bottom line is no, I highly doubt they will fix the issues. I personally believe it will be a city painter with no working systems to engage with for a very long time.
I think they will fix some performance problems but there is no game to be played without working systems no matter what performance it has.
I am hoping they will fix the game systems and will be buying the game 100% if they do regardless of performance improvements, I can deal with 30FPS as long as the game is a game and not a pointless painter with no systems to interact with.
The game is fundamentally broken as it stands and that's ignoring the performance issues.
The economy is broken/non-functional and renders any attempt at building a city pointless.
The game can't even make vehicles adhere to the right of way at roundabouts so what chance anything remotely complex is actually working correctly?
I'm sorry but... it's literally impossible to not have issues.
Devs aknowledged that economy is bugged, you can't be the exception here, you may have not noticed... yet. That's actually the major problem here: paradox will DEMAND more paid dlc, means more content, more content means more bugs on top of a broken system, if the game doesn't get fixed before anything gets added then it's pretty much the end.
Hopefully...
Just give them some time and the benefit of the doubt.
The traffic is also bugged. I have huge avenues with barely any cars that are shown as red, and the service coverage won’t go through there.
Maybe it won’t be solved in a month, probably it will all be solved in two or three. Let’s just not expect it tomorrow.
I find the game in its current state as boring, we will surely enjoy it in one or two years
