Empty lines between zoning squares
When I place a road there is always a space between the zoning squares.
It's really frustrating when I place a road and there is a empty line.
Here is a screenshot.

The ground is 100% flat and no slope.
I tried to turn off the road options 1 by 1 but that is not working.
Anyone know how to solve this?
Thank you!

Yeah, making a perfect grid is a nightmare in this game.

It's not only for a grid, a straight line is also with empty spaces in the zoning.

Try un-toggling some of the snapping rules. I forget which ones to turn off, but you need the road tool to snap alignment to the center median instead of the lanes.

Here is what I found works. 1. turn of the "Snap to grid lines" tool (looks like a cross). Then start your road a few blocks off where you want the road to start, in this case the avenue, then draw the road and then go back to attach to avenue. https://steamuserimages-a.akamaihd.net/ugc/2137580477406972062/915B0343430B6D33735517D33A7B738DF6518856/?imw=5000&imh=5000&ima=fit&impolicy=Letterbox&imcolor=%23000000&letterbox=false

You missed the part when trying to do a simple straight line can also have empty areas between zoning.

Your method doesn't really help.

Doing a 90° cross-section has the same result 90% of the time, with fewer steps.

Tried that already as I mentioned in the openings post :)
I tried it also to align it on the center of the road.

Thank you.
There is no 'snap to grid lines' option.
In your screenshot I see you have everything turned on.

Not sure why the screen shot has it turned back on. Anyhow, it the second from the right. Looks like an intersection.

Ah I see, I turned that off already.
But then the problem is I can not center it in the middle.
I turned it off and made a straight line for 300 meters,
A bit right of the midle there is again the empty line between the zones.

I see what you are trying to do now. I think your issue is you technically have multiple grids going on, so the game is randomly trying to decide which grid it belongs to at different points along the road. You may need to delete that whole section and start over with a single grid.

I start a new map and draw a single straigt road that is not connected to another road.
Tried different road types, but still there is a space between some zone squares.
To be sure, it's not connected to a other road and no slope with a 100% flat surface.

Yes, that is an issue with the game and everyone is dealing with small breaks here and there. The trick is to minimize the best you can. It is completely frustrating when you get small cracks and can't figure out how to fix them.

Sometimes I delete and draw a part of the road or work in smaller sections.

Thank you :)
Then there is nothing to do with it right now, hope they 'fix' this.

It's usually misalignment, i got it a few times, i switch everything off but angles and road length, then swap between the others depending on my needs.

The snapping needs improvement
