What a lovely soundtrack

I booted up the game today for the first time since pre ordering it. I only have a gtx 1070 so I have been dreading how it's going to handle the game. To my surprise it's coping well at early game stages on low -medium settings. I know I will have to upgrade but with a 1070 I am overdue anyways.

One thing that really got me was the amazing soundtrack. Many games of this genre have an annoying 2 minute jingle that drills into your head but CS2 has a real depth to the music that you don't normally hear in building games. Instead of clicking mute I found myself actively listening to it. Whether that remains the same in the coming weeks is yet to be seen but I just wanted to acknowledge amongst the sea of negativity, the really great job they did on the soundtrack.

I also agree that the soundtrack is very good , and much better compare to CS1.I still think that Simcity 5 has the best soundtrack for city building games ;].

I'm sorry to say that I don't like any of the radio stations. Either they babble way too often (very repetitive) or the songs are just bad. I mean, what's with this "electric scam" or "electric spam" or whatever it's called? You've got a relax radio station and then you get this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ track that completely rips you out of the flow. I just played the game for 10 hours and the radio stations are already annoying me...

The only radio station I've liked so far is the one called "The Vibe". I've enjoyed alot of the music in there, specifically "Down by the park", "Main Street", "Day By Day" and "Cologne". I was actually able to rip those few songs from the files so I can listen to them by them selves

Yeah, that radio channel with the electric girl is super cringe, just annoying gibberish every 5 minutes. I've heard it like 20+ times now (I forget to switch station after I hear it every time because the music is pretty good otherwise, lol) and I still don't know what it's about.

Edit: Looked it up, it's the "Spaz Electronics" I'm referring to.

Spaz Electronics - yeah this one... very annoying. And this one i got on both stations - "The Vibe" and "The Smooth Beat" so there is no use of switching the channel. You won't get rid of it.

Well, I am coming back to tell you that they removed that specific radio ad. Apparently it was offensive to British people. Now you can rest in peace knowing that you'll never hear it again
