Some bugs and issues ive found
Following on from the post about trade issues. Here are some of the things I’ve found.

Playing on GamePass

I have 20+ hours in the game and a city with 260,000+ pops.

I have had no trouble making money, as I have $200mil+ and a monthly income of $7mil+. But most of that money is from office tax income, and a little bit from the other taxes.

I started to notice something was off with the surplus of goods and trade, also how my cargo port would always hold 222t of garbage, even know I have 20+ incinerators with 3x more disposable capacity, then there is garbage build up.

Here are a few other bugs I've found.
1. Death waves (1000s die instantly, all at the same time)
2. people get sick all at the same time
3. Hospitals don’t provide health care.
4. None or very limited exports.
5. Water pollution never disappears.
6. Traffic is dumb (improved over CS1 tho).
7. education doesn't really work, participation is arbitrary.
8. pop growth is broken and will decrease dramatically and then rise (waves up and down for no reason).
9. Trade index/graph is broken.
10. Tourism has no or very little impact.
11. transport is broken (10 buses to a line, with 2/3 just following right behind each other with 5 passengers each).
12. Mail system is broken, if a post office gets full it will just stop working all together and the sorting warehouse wont pick up the mail from it.
13. incinerators will always be half fall, regardless of how much rubbish you produce or burn.
14. Commercial (blue zones) don’t really have an impact, even if you have a high demand for commercial zones, they will always say they don’t have enough customers. even if you delete large amounts of them, or move them around.
15. collapsing buildings, even with a large pop growth and all services provided
16. Always a high need for basic housing (homes)
17. production surplus and deficit is arbitrary (no impact)

I could mention a few more, but these have been the most noticeable.

An example of how trade should impact the economy/city income:
Further to the trade and trade index issue, my graph tells me I'm exporting garbage which shouldn’t be the case as I have 3x more capacity then is needed. its saying it costs me 1.5 billion in fees (very broken), my only trade cost/loss. But I have over 3 billion profits/monies (its a lot more than that, but for the sake of simplicity) from exports of other commodities. If that money is going to industries and it becomes their profits, shouldn't the city be getting large amounts of tax revenue from those sales, close to 10%, but yet my industries only give me 1.5mil in taxes total. shouldn’t it be closer to the percentage of the $1.5 billion in leftover trade in come, so 15mil (1% tax) or 150mil (10% tax)

It’s a shame the game has these issues, as I’ve enjoyed playing it, but the bugs and lack of content is killing it for me.

what bugs have you found; id be curious to know?

Here are a few other bugs I've found.
1. Death waves (1000s die instantly, all at the same time) -(never seen)

3. Hospitals don’t provide health care. - yes they do
4. None or very limited exports. - havent done exports
5. Water pollution never disappears. - yes its does Find the bad station and turn it off)
6. Traffic is dumb (improved over CS1 tho). - not game breaking
7. education doesn't really work, participation is arbitrary. - build education facilities as needed

9. Trade index/graph is broken. - havent seen

I hope you're bug reporting this directly to CO/Paradox via their forums?

Yes, you can add all the very very poor variety of buildings and the graphics also killing it..

- i have all green buildings and roads, with way more hospitals than i should need.
- hospitals will send one ambulance for 30 sick people

- see above, plus the health care percentage doesnt change
4. None or very limited exports. - havent done exports

- I deleted them in 2 different locations, never dissipated even after hours of gameplay
6. Traffic is dumb (improved over CS1 tho). - not game breaking
- it was part of their marking campaign, very little improvement
7. education doesn't really work, participation is arbitrary. - build education facilities as needed
- 2 high schools with 260,000 people are still not full, same as 4 other collages
8. pop growth is broken and will decrease dramatically and then rise (waves up and down for no reason). - this is normal
- this is not normal and was an issue in CS1 they never fixed
9. Trade index/graph is broken. - havent seen
10. Tourism has no or very little impact. - works fine here
- works how, there is no benefit?
11. transport is broken (10 buses to a line, with 2/3 just following right behind each other with 5 passengers each). - that just normal traffiic and nitpick bs
- shouldnt be happening regardless of if its a nitpick (smart ai - marketing)
12. Mail system is broken, if a post office gets full it will just stop working all together and the sorting warehouse wont pick up the mail from it. ... - add more mail boxes mail is working fine
- have full green streets and buildings with post boxes, plus several dozen post offices. its not the mail being the issue, but the post offices stopping to work once they full.

- will always be on high demand, and not enough customers. others have had a similar. no way to fix it.

- most major cities in the world dont have a high amount of homes - see Seoul, tokyo, paris, london etc. the world isnt the USA
