Where are Canals, quays, and flood walls?
Sitting here watching water try go around one of my dams, and then noticed.. hey, where the f are the canals, quays, and flood walls? Not all of us just want to terraform.

How many DLC down the line do you think that will be?

Funny thing is, at least quays were in the base game, as were flood walls (despite being comically over-sized).

Maybe 6 months after the beta.

DLC1, 20 dollars: improve the FPS
DLC2, 17 dollars: access to the maps creator
DLC3, 20 dollars, add a third biome
DLC4 to 47: 12 dollars: new radios
DLC48 to 52: 17 dollars: sponsor the creators of free mods by buying them now through our plateform
So maybe for the DLC 53, in 2029? After all, the game was "thought for the future" ;)

Seriously, roads have already walls and it looks like the future DLC is about harbours, so we can expect canals and quays.

They released this game unfinished in every conceivable way. No tropical themes, no bicycles or bicycle lanes, no quays or sea walls, no mods until they finally add their paradox approved mod feature "whenever we feel like it bro." I'm sick of companies serving us bowls of sh*t and expecting us to eat it with a smile on our face. We'll just have to wait a year for this game to finally be even somewhat feature complete and playable.

Exactly. The pedestrian path is just a road without traffic. They've totally left out pedestrian walking paths, cycling paths, cyclists in general. Like what the heck? I would always make paths well away from roads. It really was a great feature in CS1, why take it away?

Well there's no need for flood walls cause this game doesn't have waves every half second.

You can make quays but it's a bit odd. But you can do it with any road or pedestrian path.

You can, but its way too finicky in my opinion. Also, I've dealt with unbearable flooding on flat parts of my city twice now. Both times requiring me to load an old save. Definitely a problem and its honestly worse than CS1 cause at least that water would drain/disappear after a while.
