Can't Bulldoze Power Line

I have an unconnected high voltage power line hanging, and it won't let me bulldoze it. I get the message "Overlapping items", but I'm trying to bulldoze so I don't see how that would work.

Weird. Check to see if it is tied to an underground line somehow. There's a button in the bottom right that allows you to see below ground structures. You can bulldoze those lines and often that will right things at the surface. LMK if that works :)

same. added extra power line, still wont allow connection ("overlapping items"), and won't allow bulldoze on newly created power line.
