Selling to neighboring cities?

I looked through the forum before i made this and didnt see any other posts.

I noticed when i started the game a black bar on the edge of my tile and had a neighboring cities name on it, progressed a few more tiles in and i no longer see a neighboring city tile.

But wanted to know how to export Sewage, Water, Power, services to make money or to use a neighboring "AI" City for importing water ect.

im not sure how to export water and sewage(i havent try), for electricity you need to connect your power plant to outside connection electricity line, then lets say you produce 100mw, your city use 10mw then remaining 90mw going to be sold automaticly. but it also means the moment your production lacks then it ll be imported since u connected to outside connection.

You need Rail/Air/Sea... and Cargo variation of em.... stock em up, complete the routes and then IF the other cities need it, they'll buy it from you... and I think there lies the problem right now... other cities seem sufficient so..... but you can sell Power and water very easily by connecting to the exterior connections.

Water based exports are at the edge of the map - you need to unlock all the tiles leading to it so you can establish a neighbourhood connection (double arrows)
