Why did they mess with something that worked just fine?
I like the newer system a little better. It's more work to set up, but at the same time, the end result is better. My favorite feature of the bus shelters so far is the fact that in CS1, the "stop" was always in the middle of the segment which meant longer buses or multiple buses would stick out and block traffic. With bus shelters, you can place them anywhere on the segment. So if you're careful when plopping shelters, you can put them in the middle to get the same behavior as before, or on the far end so your buses will pull all the way into the stop lane and not block traffic, or you can be an anarchist and put the shelter at the start of the segment and force your buses to always block traffic when they stop. Use that knowledge however you wish.
Give it time, it just takes a little bit to get used to since it's different from what we have been doing for the last 8+ years.
Also the info panel is much worse, I have to hover over the stop to see how many passengers are waiting, busses are going in a group. Many bugs right now
The info panel is different, and the only thing I can compare it to is a mod, not the base game. It presents the information needed, just differently. this is not CSI. Adapt to the changes, and do not expect the game to do what it did in the original, or what it did with the mods we all used.
It just means your buses dont have a way to get back to that stop after they left it . Make sure that one way road either loops or has other 2 way roads connected to it from its start.
I've started doing what you suggested and its helped a good bit. I've found that when you place a bus stop just put a second one across the street so it simplifies having to remember all the stop you placed.
