Yeah this absolutely sucks; be sure the main building actually appears before you decide to plop it down because if the main building isn't there it doesn't matter how much you zone; it won't operate
Not sure if you are supposed zone part of the forest then when the effeciency goes down zone the other part so it can grow back.
Going to have a play about with it anyway to see if theres another way.
Also, you can't really individually select the building. Instead, you have to select one of the end-point error icons, and then you can reposition the building.
There's a whole brown dirt ground effect in the entire area.
Also make sure the building shows before building it as stated above
