Houses take a bit too long to be built
is there anyway of speeding up the process of building in sandbox mode especially? finding that the houses take a while to be built compared to the first game thanks

in real life how fast does a house take to make, on Average. P.S. This game is only a simulation of real life and not real life

Much longer. I find it a bit odd too but I've noticed that population growth, building leveling, and education just take forever. It's very slow.

I just don't understand why a big crane needs to be used for a small one family house. very unrealistic.

i prefere this slow long building more realistic to see

who dont like there is a speed up game function no need to ruin the build time of buildings i hope

maybe add "instant build on paying" option on construction sites to who likes it fast can solve this easier

i started a fresh new game outside of the sandbox mode on story mode and the building time frame is actually alright

My zoning was taking a really long time to build until i lowered the graphics on my game and that seems to have fixed it quite a bit.

Not to mention using high rise cranes to build a little tiny house.....

Agreed about the crane. I've never seen a crane, in RL, used in residential 1 to 3 story homes. Apartments sure and any big commercial buildings. Heck even small commercial like coffee shops, convenient stores, fast food.. they dont use cranes either.

All they need is a little truck and trailer graphic to pull into the driveway. But then we are into a level of detail that is EXTREMELY taxing on a computer...

Like... "Where'd the contractor come from in the commercial zone?"... etc etc....
