Better performance with Nvidea Studio drivers
I found out that with a 4090 game driver I have 34 FPS at 70 degrees and with the Studio driver, 110 FPS at 50 degrees. Have fun with the info!

Is Studio drivers basically replace GRD?

I installed it via the tool and can only show the result. I'm not far enough in the field to be able to answer that. All I know is that the game runs absolutely brilliantly with this driver, without high temperatures and with up to 120 FPS.

Following. This is amazing if true, gonna try it when I get home. Feels like there should be a drawback for such an increase in fps, though. No change in visual fidelity?

Also, if you go into NVidia settings , specifically, configure SLi Surround and PhysX...

Let CPU run the PhysX settings.

It also helps if your C:\ is a SSD, make sure that it's installed on that drive.

I can't see any deterioration. The Studio driver seems to be the ideal solution here. I have been playing for 2 hours without any problems. As I said, it would be nice if other Nvidea owners could try this too. It would be a solution

is there any explanation as to why the studio driver runs better? also did more ppl actually try it?

Can confirm. I noticed a bit better performance with the studio driver. Not much but a bit.

curious if there is any benefit for the AMD side to use the Radeon Pro drivers, which are basically the productivity drivers, similar to the Nvidia studio.

could anyone confirm ?

Game ready drivers update more frequently, with new improvements and fixes, but it can also be possible for bugs to appear. Studio drivers are better tested and less frequently released, thus providing better stability, but it takes more time to have new updates of fixes and improvements for known issues.

Tried with an 3060TI
had no effect on me still 30-ish FPS at QHD and about 50-70 on 1080p

cant confirm, slightly worse with a 3060ti for me. Back to GRD, game runs fine for me with some nivida panel finetuning on top :)

Did you go back through the game settings because when I changed the driver it set almost everything either off or on low but when I changed back to the settings I had before switching drivers I got maybe 5 frames on average when moving around different spots on the city.

There's an internal preview driver from AMD with the new FMF - Fluid Motion Frames. I installed and turned it on (leaving super resolution turned off) Now playing in average on 85 FPS on UWQHD with all settings to high (depth of field turned off, but can be turned on with average 60 FPS) Played in a 5K pop small town. Tried as well a 100k pop save game. FPS is between 30 and 60 depnding on densitiy of area.

System:
7800x3D
7900XTX
32 GB DDR5 6000
2TB NVME
