post sorting facility

so i put down a post sorting facility to help my postal service, and i notice that no mail ever goes to it, nor does it send out any trucks. does anyone else experience this bug?

I feel like mail is bugged or something. I have two post offices, both with the van upgrades in a city of 45k, with plenty of post boxes, and the mail chart is like the alps, I get about 6 months of delivieres and then zero deliveries for 6 months. Collections still happen but at a reduced amount.

My sorting office never gets any mail, and never sends any vehicles out

+1. Came here looking for an answer. Mail was working fine up until about 60k population. All of a sudden my mail trucks stopped leaving the facilities. Bug suggestion?

It's bugged.
Placing a Post sorting facility makes the mail monthly rate go br-r-r-r uncontrollably and it will just go up endlessly. Facility itself just does nothing.

You also get a permanent -15 malus on most/all high density residential even if you place offices and maibox right next to them

i partly solved my mail issue by removing my cargo train terminal entirely, since it was filling up in mail but doing nothing with it. since then, my post offices and sorting facility do work, though the sorting facility does not send out intercity mail.

I got one to work by placing it across the street from a cargo depot. but the mail sorting building never sends out any trucks. only got deliveries from the cargo depot. tried to duplicate by placing another sorting facility next to a cargo depot across town, didn't work.
