No Pedestrian Access
Another glitch in this unfinished game. Has anyone else experienced this?

yes, and it's not a glitch.
depending on the layout of roads and how you make your zoning inside there are sometimes situations when game AI builds a building that actually has no access to a road. One example: the line where the facade of the building goes is on a hard slope where the road has a retaining wall.

Solutions:
1. silly but simple: bulldoze that building and hope that something different will pop up.
2. elaborate: rather than allocating the whole zone by bucket filling you can draw the squares yourself one by one. e.g. you draw 2x2 and then some 2x3 and then a couple of 3x3 squares yourself within that area. These squares you have drawn will define the exact size of the building and where its facade is facing.
3. another option: draw a thin line of bushes along the edge where you have a problem. Then when the building appears behind the bushes, draw a pedestrian walkway to this building.

I have experienced this. I just delete the building and allow it to rebuild. IDK why buildings are built not facing the main street.

I have also noticed that buildings will sometimes build with their main entrances facing an alley way. The game registers alleys like a functioning main road which can be quite annoying when trying to layout an area first.

I like the look alleys give the city, but in order to prevent the back of the building facing a main road, I have to build alleys after a block has been developed.

What I am experiencing is 100% a glitch.

It is a glitch. Just bulldoze and allow the game to rebuild in that zone.

What I am having is a problem with chosen buildings. For example, I place a port and there are literally 14 signs randomly around the place, telling me that there is no pedestrian access, when there is obvious pedestrian access available.

Hahaha! The more I zoom in the more warnings pop up. There's probably over 20 now.

Happening with me too. Seems to be happening to medium density european style row housing. So far the other buildings I've chosen seem to work. But euro row housing is constantly building facing the wrong way.

had it once, building was trying to snap to a side road that stopped short.. each time I knocked it down the same building would be rebuilt with the same problem. I de-zoned a strip nearest the side road and it sorted its self out.

I figured it was something with a funky zone size, as I got it to happen too. I did get it sorted out by bulldozing though.

I'm experiencing this issue now at 90k citizens. The building type doesn't matter, industrial, office, residential buildings begin to show that no pedestrian access is available, even though some of them are standing since the beginning of the game. Even if I bulldoze it - new building appears and instantly starts complaining about no pedestrian access. For now I just remove the zoning for the building. Not a lot of buildings do this, but being at 90k citizens the simulation slowed down so some things might not work well.

Its funny when it happens to an area thats been fine for 30 in game hours. My city hit around 120k and some of the oldest zones in my save started getting this. I also have a 1 way road that has the "dead end" warning, despite the fact nothing was changed, and the road used to function perfectly as designed, and still functions perfectly. Yet the icons are there.

Id say the first 30-40 hours of City Skylines 2 is alot of fun, fairly enjoyable. But post 40 hours and everything is getting hyper annoying and frustrating lol. Constantly dealing with well designed streets getting traffic jams because pedestrians are freezing in the middle of the intersections. Buses that want to cross 5 lanes of traffic and park at the bus stop at a full 90 degree turn and take a minute to load, causing traffic jams. Pedestrians that walk like 20km in game instead of taking a car or public transit. Oh and then theres the no left turn intersections, where cars still turn left anyways.

lol

Any solution to "no pedestrian access" issue? Having this on my port, making it impossible to establish a train route.

I have 3 identical European style row houses on a road all next to each other. All exactly the same tile. The middle one has no pedestrian access the other two are fine. ??

Same issue I have with my municipal airport. Added the train connection, but can't establish a route to it because of the "no pedestrian access". No indication at all where it's suppose to be. You'd figure with the airport with it's own parking space connected to a road would give it "pedestrian access".
