It eventually does drain/evaporate, but it takes much longer than it did in CS1. I accidentally flooded a neighborhood after terraforming, but it eventually dried up a few in-game days later, so it does take time.
Also, keep in mind, terraforming over flooded areas doesn't resolve the issue. When building the water still exists under the ground and you will not be able to build until the water dries up.
Ill try and keep waiting but I have been for a few days already and it still seems to sit around. Its got to the point the whole area isnt accesible, cant build on it anymore, and now theres ruins.
Gotcha. Yeah. It does take some time. I also terraformed a piece of land to even it out for a bridge and water got stuck under the ground for quite a while before I was able to actually build the bridge.
Hope it resolves itself in your city.
glad the water finally dried up.
Yeah it takes a long ass time for water to dry up this time around. gotta be extra careful when terraforming.
Where can I find their known bug list?
