If you are happy to play games at 25fps on an old card then good for you...
To be fair 25fps would be fine for a game like this *IF* it was consistent.
I guess he could spend $500 and get another 10-15 frames per. but I'm sure some people would see that as a waste of money.
I have a 1070ti. If you are ok with 1080 and 20-30 FPS, you can play this. Graphics won't be very good, but you can start learning the new features while they optimize.
But it sure is better when they do, right?
I don't have the best rig but I keep it optimized for games. Spent some time adjusting the in game graphics but I do that on every game that I play.
Have found several bugs but I am sure those will be patched out eventually.
i7 4790, strix 1070, 32GB RAM
20fps lowest 1% / 24 avg with med/low settings which means it looks comparable to CS1.
I'll keep trying and learning the game for a few days, wait for the next update, and then leave my review on steam. Too early for me to come to a conclusion, since they admit that there's performance issues, and i'm on old hardware, so i'll just enjoy the game while i wait to see if i really wanna upgrade my PC or just play as the game improves. I would of course be happy to see 40 or so fps, but 25 is still playable and enjoyable.
