I Did a elevated ""metro"" with elevated stations (with trams)
Since the game has not elevated stations for metro, i used some creativity and made a elevated tram line (which the main factor is the huge traffic on the streets not to impact or delay the passengers).

So, i used a pedestrian street to connect the upper road to the down one, and avoid cars to go up. Later i figured that it works also with pedestrian path (the one you find in landscaping area)

Did you liked it?

This is actually a really good Idea!

This is great, thanks for sharing. BTW can you run trams underground and have a subway/metro this way?

I did the same before, but with bus lanes - i.e. a section over the traffic oval in the right side in the screenshot below:

Unfortunately no since you cannot build tram - or bus - stops underground.

Very creative. Must give it a try.

You can also connect to elevated segments with the pedestrian path tool. It doesn't "work" cosmetically, but it's functional

In other words, the elevated ped path does NOT create a gap in the fence/railing of the elevated tram nework, but cims can cross it anyway.

You are right, whenever I tried before I forgot to "underground" the stops lol.

Vestigial effect from my hours of Transport Fever 2, that has no underground layer so I am used to building underground from above ground view.
