Paradox Mods? (Where is it?)
Ok, watching the various videos prior to release, there was a menu option for Paradox Mods. I don't see anything like that in any of my menus. No, I'm not really expecting any mods to be available yet (takes time to write them, I get it), but I figured we'd at least have access to the interface for it. Am I missing something, or did they say that would be coming later?

Same question, i don't see the option in the launcher or in the game menu.
Having them on Steam Workshop would have made life easier for everyone -_-

Mods take away from DLCS... $$$... Also Mods would probably break the game.
Maybe they'll add workshop back if we complain enough, but they still have to actually fix the game.

1) You don't even own the game, so why do you care? You're just one of those people who likes to endlessly complain? If you bought the game via another platform, you can't use the Steam Workshops for this game, anyway.
2) Paradox/CO had no problems with mods in CS1, and some of the DLC that they provided was done so at no charge. (Hint: DLC stands for Downloadable Content; it has nothing to do with whether or not that content is going to be charged for.)
3) They've made it abundantly that they're not supporting Steam Workshops for this game, so get over it. I don't particularly like it, either, but if they're going to provide their own mod platform to make sure that non-code mods are available for consoles while allowing code mods (such as TM:PE & the like for CS1) on the PC, then I'll just get used to using the Paradox Mods platform. Because that's what mature people do: They realize that not everything can go their way; they don't have to like it, but they live with it and work with what they've got.
4) Please take your FUD somewhere else.

And to the others who have already replied: Thanks much for the info; good to know when to start looking for it! 👍‍

(Your comment was still waiting review by Steam and wasn't visible when I made my previous post.)
That's good to know about, so thanks for posting that link. But no, I was referring to the in-game menu that had a selection for "Paradox Mods" that I've seen in earlier videos. Others here have explained the time-table for that, so I know that it's something that just hasn't actually come yet.

Potentially this might be launched next week

The Mods will not be on Steam for CS2, PARADOX will be posting Mods. That's all i know, I love it so far without the mods.

I don't see a city skylines 2 section in Paradox Mods, just CS1 am I missing something?
Darkmatter Oct 25, 2023 @ 12:29pm
This also means that Paradox will have the power to delete any mods at their discretion, no reason needed to be given.

Can 3rd part mod sites 'sideload' mods for CS2 or do we not know yet?

Then again, if they don't fix their code, it won't matter.

They already said it'll come shortly after launch. Nothing but whiners, but this kind of made me wish they would've delayed until February.

yes, it's a unity game. even if they didn't support mods you could mod it easily.

Did you actually *read* what I wrote, or did you not make it past the title and then decided you needed to make a snide comment to show everyone how "clever" you are? 🤨

Since you apparently didn't, let me spell it out for you: I said that I'm not expecting any mods at this time, I was simply asking because I'd noticed in the various pre-release videos that there was a menu option for them, and I haven't yet seen any such menu item in the game. Thus, asking if I was missing something or if they'd said it was going to be added later.

Reading comprehension. It's a good skill to have. 😉
