What happened to bicycles?

I haven't seen any in game and there are no options for bike lanes. Why is that feature missing? Will it be patched in or be behind a DLC paybarrier?

Bicycles was behind After Dark dlc in first cities skylines. Maybe we have to wait and pay for these bicycles.

we have hope for the first major update for that fixes preformance issues and gives us extra TLC like bicycles

I had heard that Paradox will add them further down the line. Whether that's in a free update or in a potential DLC remains to be seen.
They weren't on their priority list for the release. I think the game has bigger issues right now tbh.
