I am so over the "sewer backed up" messages!
I have an advanced water pump and water treatment(with some of the addons) ;and yet I am getting the warning message. What is odd is that it starts in a few spots then it appears to grow to other locations. I left the game run without any new building, to see if the game's mechanics would catch up and level out my sewer issue. No resolution, just more poop left not dealt with. It won't let me put another treatment building down and I hate the sewage outlet asset. Any thoughts peeps?

Have you actually connected the pipes? You probably think you have, but double check.

Water and Sewage pipes are separate, did you use a water pipe instead of a sewage pipe?

At the placement of the water treatment facility, there is the 2 attachment "nodes", they are placed facing the road and piping. It is showing movement in the pipes. Yes it is powered too. All roads are connected too. I don't mind solving problems in a city builder; but, with only the amount of one treatment building allowed, I feel like I am playing with one hand tied behind my back. Yes I have upgraded the treatment plant too.

Had the same problem, sewage issues; I added another sewage pump, the problem went away. Hope it helps you

the current game has no reason to build your own sewer. you actually should just import it and you will only spend about 66% after deleting your sewage facilities. the advanced pump is cost effective, but all others should be deleted as well.

to do this just buy enough tiles to go from your city to the edge of the map and then drag a dual pipe from any road all the way to the map boarder.

Water treatment plant converts sewage into garbage(a lot of garbage). If you fall behind on garbage pickup on it, that will cut its processing capacity down to 50%.
