Do we have Ultrawide?
No one mentioned anything about it. Do we have ultrawide support at all?

ultrawide is supported, even super ultrawide, so you are good.

I'm also an Ultrawide (3440x1440) User and I'm curious about the performance.
Doesn't it make the game even more hardware-hungry if you want to play it at this resolution?

Can you you guys with Ultrawide (3440x1440) can give a little bit feedback? Thanks

Yeah its actually not supported at all. Sure it can run at 5120x1440 resolution but FOV set absolutely incorrectly so the image is very distorted. And even if you switch to windowed mode you can't just resize the window like in almost any other game to some comfortable size. Instead you must use some fixed resolution which is barely usable on such screen.
So I have no idea how anyone can call that supported.

When you use a ultrawide or even a super ultrawide, you should expect wonky FoV in games because that's the nature of playing on an ultrawide, things will always stretch out towards the edge. I have a super ultrawide myself and I'm not complaining about the playability of CS2 on that, but for a city builder I play on my big TV instead, it's not a racing game of flight simulator.

7950x with 3080 and 64gb of RAM. High settings on everything with the normal stuff turned off for performance. 40+ fps. Downloaded the big 100k city and got around 15fps when moving the camera around but would never know it without the frame counter.

It does have FOV issues. Try focusing on a bridge for example and changing 5120x1440 to 2560x1440. You will notice vert-.

more resolution = more work for the gpu

so playing on Ultrawide (3440x1440) is atm not rly possible...?!
ZedZed Oct 30, 2023 @ 11:35am
Bumping in hope they will see this. The game's FOV is way too zoomed in at 21:9 to the point of making me nauseous and giving me a headache. If they can't figure out the scaling, at least give us a damn FOV slider
