why are you trying the Minimum PC specs with a junk piece of i5? seriously
Why are you so rude? I don't need the latest and greatest PC. The GTX 1060 is better than a 1650, and the i5-7600k is a decent CPU from it's time, now it isn't very good, but I am upgrading to a whole new PC eventually, and I even have the first part on the way, an RTX 3060! The 3060 is much better than a 1060 and i'll put it in my current PC until all my parts for my new PC arrive.
Most games still run fine on this machine, but I feel we are hitting a wall. TBH... after 7 years that is to be expected.
Games like this are performance hogs. I didn't even buy into it, 'cause I already feel my PC is falling behind when it comes to modern heavy duty performance.
At some point you just have to except you need to upgrade.
I do want to say I find the minimum specs for this game quite optimistic. I feel this is a rather unrealistic presentation. Sure the game will run... but who wants to play a slide show?
If you start out the gates with 20FPS, I wouldn't even bother. Imagine what it's gonna be when you have a large city.
Bottom line... we need to upgrade our hardware... they need to stop dishing out unrealistic specs (and unfinished products... which isn't helping performance either),
