GTX 1060, i5-7600k, 16GB RAM experience.
I played(and refunded) the game earlier today. My PC specs are in the title. I got 8 or less fps on high settings, up to 11 on medium, 15 on low, and just a bit above 20 fps on the lowest settings. On a blank map. I expanded my city to 5000 population, and using lowest settings(Dynamic res & vsync off), i got under 20fps the whole time. with the fps average being 15-19fps. This was done using steam's built in fps counter, so i don't know 1% lows.

Anyone told you an i5 is a piece of junk for this game, did you check the requirements.

why are you trying the Minimum PC specs with a junk piece of i5? seriously

Why are you so rude? I don't need the latest and greatest PC. The GTX 1060 is better than a 1650, and the i5-7600k is a decent CPU from it's time, now it isn't very good, but I am upgrading to a whole new PC eventually, and I even have the first part on the way, an RTX 3060! The 3060 is much better than a 1060 and i'll put it in my current PC until all my parts for my new PC arrive.

Yeah if you have little over the minimum requirements you should be able to play a game at 30 fps on the lowest settings. I would consider it as false advertising if you can't.

I'm using RTX3060 and its not very good in this game either. ~40 fps in LOW 1080p with ~96% gpu load.

I do consider it as false advertising. The devs need to change the minimum requirements to an rtx 2060, and an i5-8600k. And this game ain't running with 8 gigs of ram either. They should make the RAM requirement 16GB.

Even with a small city the game eats 27gb of ram. And i have 32. In 2023 you need some buff PC... Minimum 32gb of ram minimum 3080Ti minimum ryzen 5600x.

I'm in the same tier, using a 7600K, 32GB 3000MHZ, SSD, GTX1080.

Most games still run fine on this machine, but I feel we are hitting a wall. TBH... after 7 years that is to be expected.

Games like this are performance hogs. I didn't even buy into it, 'cause I already feel my PC is falling behind when it comes to modern heavy duty performance.
At some point you just have to except you need to upgrade.

I do want to say I find the minimum specs for this game quite optimistic. I feel this is a rather unrealistic presentation. Sure the game will run... but who wants to play a slide show?

If you start out the gates with 20FPS, I wouldn't even bother. Imagine what it's gonna be when you have a large city.

Bottom line... we need to upgrade our hardware... they need to stop dishing out unrealistic specs (and unfinished products... which isn't helping performance either),
