Wow! Game runs at a BEAUTIFUL, CRISP 11.2 fps on my RTX 4090!
Exactly the kind of performance I'd expect from a $1700 GPU running at 100% usage.

INSANELY high performance cost for ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ depth of field.

turn vsync off, doa off, antialiasing OFF, turn NATIVE resulution ON 1440k, or 4k. (u will not need taa in high resolution).. turn off dynamic relolution, if still low fps, fix some shadows... u will get over 100fps with still great looking game, I am sure... just play with settings.

Think I've covered most of them.

You missed one. My RTX 3070Ti works fine at high settings with a small city, but the game looks terrible compared to CS (something about the lighting). I don't monitor fps because monitoring heat is more important to me and it's only at 70C, I play at 1080p, but have two monitors, and can usually play and do something else on the second monitor, but I can't in CS2. Once I lose focus on CS2, its monitor goes to desk top. It's still working, does not release the GPU resources it requires, and I can go back to it.

It might go below 11.2 fps and I wouldn't notice, because it looks bad when paused. Yeah, I know, RTX 3080 recommended and prices have dropped for the 4000 series are now below what I paid for the RTX 3070Ti over a year or so ago.

We literally told you this was going to be the case multiple times before the release.

When are you going to wake up?

Honestly, never been a fan of DoF. If I wanted to blur out 90% of my screen to try and simulate what my eyes do, I'd take my glasses off. Sorry, but until my eyes are linked directly to my screen, I'll skip the artificial cataracts.

The real question is: What is DoF doing here that it's chugging SO bad?

Im getting anywhere from 20-50fps on my rtx3060 with settings on high.

No, it's not the Gpu's fault, but the gigantic ego of people that bought the 4090s refusing to nudge a single slider in settings cuz you know, they own the best consumer gpu in the world.

Your wasting your time mate...
None of these "gamers" want to try and make it work.

Its beautiful and smooth at 90 fps when you hit the correct settings!

sadly, its true. its running great for me. I spent 2 minuts in advanced graphics settings. Its really sad to see people these days with absolutelly zero pc knowledge. but OK, it is new age...

Sadly the world doesn't only revolve around you
Just because your "specs" can "run" it doesn't automatically mean no one else has issues.
