PLAYING IN 4K PERFECTLY FINE! (SETTINGS SCREENSHOTS)
I ran this game initially and it nearly set my pc on fire in the menu screen so I went and downloaded the newest nvidia driver (released 17th October) and everything is great now.

I have a fairly decent pc but it's starting to age now. Basically a ryzen 9, 3080 and 64gb ram on Windows 11. I am currently playing at 4k with a constant 60fps (I'm limited by my 65" tv) so if you are unsure whether to buy this or are unsure how to configure settings corretly please ignore the children with 4090s that can't seem to get it to work properly.

I have every impactful setting set to max including volumetrics (which Squirrel YouTube confirmed to be bugged ahead of release) I turned on the AMD sharpness and turned my resolution scaling to use a lowest setting of 75% with it also set to constant, not dynamic/auto. I have shadows and everything else on full as I was getting weird glitches with lower settings, more than likely to do with the upscaling needing some work.

The game works fine, unfortunately there are a lot of people that don't fully understand what certain settings do. If I had a 4090 I'd probably turn every slider up and expect to brute force it too but until the game ready driver drops the game is just too new and detailed to do that atm. I'm happy to send everyone a screenshot of my settings screen if you think this will help, just send me a dm.

If you're playing at less than 4k and are still having problems the best thing to do is to turn on constant dynamic scaling and lower your minimum resolution scaling value to 50% whilst enabling amd sharpness upscaling. If there's anything I can help with feel free to comment.

For those in the game I'm fairly certain that the sims complaining about noise, healthcare/deathcare are bugged but increasing my healthcare funding to 130% seems to have satusfied their needs and they are happy now, I on the other hand are not happy as I'm gonna go bankrupt so let's hope it's bugged for real.

It's quite nice, definitely getting the noise complaints and healthcare bug but beyond that love the new road mechanics

Noise complaints has to be a bug because i've not even unlocked the noise barriers yet. At least I'm hoping it's a bug! I did have the same idea as others about blocking noise with trees but I don't think that's a thing. I feel sorry for anyone that misses out on this game because of paying too much attention to the misleading comments/reviews you find in the steam discussions for every game (Hell, I've done it too when a game simply doesn't work) but I feel like this game will work fine for the majority of people if they either temper their expectations of what their current hardware is capable of or simply learn what the different settings actually mean and apply them correctly.

I can do that on here? I forgot to mention thatI have this installed on a gen 4nvme m.2 drive which will also make a huge difference. Not sure why anyone wouldn't have a high speed drive in 2023 though if you're expecting to run games like this. I still have less power than the idiots in the review section. I'll post screenshot in a sec...

Does it blur the whole background when you pause (not just what overlay is on top of?) because otherwise your "perfectly fine settings" that are so much better than all the "idiots" make the game look like ****.

I'm literally at floor level, I linked the advanced settings list that you can find with this link. I'm sorry you're upset about not being able to run the game but I assure you it looks just as great as all of the promo material and if you were going to try and play the game from street level you should probably stick to Warzone anyway.
