This game does not have support for 4k resolution??
i9 13900k
NVIDIA GTX 4090
RAM 64gb DDR5

And I get 11 fps in the game menu and 21 fps during gameplay in a fresh map. Is there a way to make it playable at least?

Lower your expectations for 4k Gaming, it's a gimmick, might look nice if you manage to get high settings, but you'll be forever chasing those frames.

Turn off depth of field and volumetric lighting, but then the FPS will go down again once your city gets bigger.

This never happened before in any other game I played. Should I play in 1080 in 4k monitor?

That's what I want to know, if this is really just unplayable and I should ask for the refund.

There are performance issues, sure, but 4k gaming is a money sink, if not this game it will be something else... the whole idea is to get you buying a new card every generation to keep up with it all.

i only jumped to 1440p a few year ago, doesn't make sense to go higher as the cost is phenomenal.

That's your opinion and that's fine. I just want to know if the game is playable or not.

It is playable, just probably not at 4k for that very reason.

and its more than playable, you just think that youre too good for anything other than 4k all max settings

why would you even want 4k settings on a city builder?
Quietlee79 Oct 24, 2023 @ 4:55pm
I've got a ryzen 9 and a 3080 and I'm playing perfectly fine with 4k and pretty much max settings, sounds like there's something seriously wrong with your pc.
