Has anyone figured out the rail yard yet?
I'm having a hard time determining what all the connections of the rail yard do. Are they all two-way tracks? Do any of the connections serve different purposes? Is a connection necessary at each node for it to work? This is the only thing I've come upon so far that doesn't seem to be well-explained in-game.

I'll save my game and be tinkering with it to try to get some of these answers, but I figured I'd check if anyone else has figured it out already.

I haven't tested it, but trains are supposed to require occasional maintenance. If you connect all of the lines to your rail network, trains will use all of the available sheds for maintenance. If you connect them all up vehicles will also spawn from the other tracks to enter your network.

If you only have one track, the trains will have to wait for another train to leave before using the depot. They are all two way tracks and all spawn in trains and allow trains to have maintenance performed on them.
