Anyone has issues with slightly flickering screen?
Sometimes the whole screen is flickering almost flashing even, very fast, its especially worse when the menu is open and seems to get worse when moving the cursor, or when looking directly downwards on the map. Really straining the eyes and giving me headaches.

yes, when I started the game through the launcher, i turned off V-sync and my screen just started flashing constantly every few seconds from game screen to black and back again. I waited for a minute and it didn't stop. I had to restart game with V-sync enabled.

Turn on TAA in advanced anti aliasing to stop the shadow flicking.

Set up TAA or turn off antialiasing. As I recall this sorted flickering for some people

Having this issue as well. The only thing I can do to get rid of it is to turn of the day/night cycle. It seems to be something with the sun setting how the light changes. If I pause the game, the flickering stops, but as soon as I turn on the time again it starts.

It's not the shadows though, it's the entire screen constantly flickering white. It even happens on the loading screen already although not as pronounced.

I can confirm that on release day I had the same sky/ground flashing issue and enabling vsync fixed it

It does make no difference for me if vsync is enabled or not. The whole screen is flickering including the interface and especially the pause menu. Strangely it's worse when I move the mouse and seems to stop when in windowed full screen and a different application gets focus.

Try different resolutions. I was trying for 4k when I started and it just dragged horribly.
Bumped it down to 1920 x 1080 and all is well.

First thing I tried, even with different refresh rates, it seemed to make it actually worse.

For anyone with a 'screen flickering problem', I know what you mean. Turn off freesync on your monitor. Just google how to do that and then it should go away.

Just incase this helps anyone, setting my refresh rate to 60Hz in NVIDIA Control Panel eliminates the flicker altogether. I have GSync and DLSS etc switched on and all graphical settings maxed out. As soon as I switch the refresh rate to 240Hz, the flicking returns no matter what else I disable.
