Visual Quality
Not only the performance is realy bad (50 FPS here after some setting tweaks like disabling DOF and motion blur), but also the visual quality is real bad at the same time which is super wierd.
The game does not seem to have traditional shading but only raytracing which is also a wierd decision (and explains the bad performance).
Yes CS1 had also zfighting issues/glitches which did not bother me at that time, but in 2023? Unacceptable!
On the first look the game does not feel like ready for a release, what a mistakle to not call this at least an early access since it feels exactly like this.
SHAME!

I'm almost certain for 95% of the people playing this the game not only runs worse but looks worse than CS1. CO should actually be closed down over this, of all the bad and unoptimized release of late, this is by far the worst.

In advanced graphics setting you can turn on FSR and TAA helps eliminate jaggies

why fsr1 is the best upscaling option implemented in almost 2024 is a rhetorical question
not even fsr2, or xess, not to mention dlss

Anyone experience weird flickering? Like when you zoom in edges of buildings or full fences flickering?

Just wondering what setting might stop the flickering, tried anti aliasing off and on as a different game it resolved the issue but not in this case.

Probaly thats what you get by choosing Unity as game engine and investing zero effort in rendering tech. If they at least included traditional shading as an option i feel the problems would be mostly solved. Isnt it wierd to not have an option to disable their bad "raymarching" implementation?

Yes, it's especially bad with fences and electric wires. The game is an eyesore to look at because of this and many other things.

Now that looks worse than with my nvidia 2060. Somehow the signs are extremely low res. Have you tried changing the visuals from high to medium? (no I don't mean the opposite)

I'll give that a try. There's nothing to lose at this point - like this is just so bad to be unplayable.

It's not Unity. I'm making a demo with tons of buildings in Unity HDRP to show it.

The talented dev's from the first game must have left the company.

What kind of computers are the devs playing on to get these super high resolution images and gameplay? Are they running a completely separate release of the game?
