Hi, I use an amd ryzen 5 5600g cpu(with an iGPU) and 16GB RAM. will it be enough for 1080p resolution with at least 20fps on low settings? I know the game isn't out yet, but wanna know what people think.

Well, go to the store page and read the recommended specs I guess??

Processor: Intel® Core™ i7-9700K | AMD® Ryzen™ 5 5600X

That's not the "minimum" specs, that's the recommended. SMH?

Most likely you'll get 33 FPS if you have a mid-range graphics card if you turn the settings down to Med, if you turn off shadows, you could definitely have a better performance with V-sync turned off.

I would suggest low shadows, 1080P res, and you should be able to run the game pretty much fine, the problem is that these people think that this new optimized game is the same as the old. You don't need an RTX 4070 Ti to play this game with 64GB of ram.

Unless you download over a thousand mods, there's simply no reason to do that. Although I gotta be honest, if you have 16GB ram, you might want to upgrade that if you can, because once the city grows, it's going to be draining your ram pretty fast. I'd highly suggest 32GB ram.

You didn't mention your graphics card? If you have a medium end graphics card, it should be able to run it just fine.

I believe OP mentioned the intention to use the IGPU in the post and in another thread.

Might be a spud, bud.

A spud is a potato (a bad computer), which was chosen since it rhymes with "bud".

Any chance you can bang in a decent graphic card into your system ?
Or is a notebook?

The igpu will pull the handbrake on everything I'm afraid.

When you play the game, it would also be good if you look into a task manager every now and then, to see if the game still has enough free ram.

Kind regards  :steamhappy:

Can't afford $100s of dollars on a GPU right now, maybe later.

I am in the same position, I have a 5600G, and 32GB of RAM, but cannot spend money on a GPU right now :(

I'm doing fine with my $120 ARC A380. I am maxing out the 6GB of vram and about 30GB of ram, so a IGPU and 16GB is probably not going to do it.

Others have suggested getting a month of GamePass for $6 to test your system.

The minimum specs are on the main page. Or are you just wanting random people to blather on about hardware that has no relevance to your PC?

5600G !!!:meepwow:

The Cims already get sick at 3G, without phones, in Rollercoaster Tycoon :meepyikes:
I hope things work out for you at normal gravity speed, wishing you a nice time in games :steamhappy::steamthumbsup:

I heard that some people prefer at least 7600x G, but PSSSSSSTTTT :rip:

As someone who has now purchased the game and tried it out with a 5600G iGPU (set to 8GB with 24GB system RAM remaining)

Very Low settings at 1080p are 15 -19 fps for the start of the city and will go lower as the city grows.
I tried cities skylines and got very jumpy with 8fps. Put in a RTX4060 now got 52 fps using the DLSS innit and very smoothe. I got 32gb RAM
