Are you talking about custom map designs? Modders can definitely upload certain countries landscape features.
I have no idea what you're referring to, is this in the first game? I don't recall random generated maps, though I haven't played in years. Went back to it, game was corrupted, gave up.
well for skylines 1 you don't need modders for that
there program out there that can create map for game based on any location you want in real life for example i used it to bring in location for my home town.

my understanding it is going get updated to skylines 2 so real life is covered would been nice to also had option for randomly created procedural generated maps also.
other whys skylines 2 is not really bring anything new to that aspect of game.
