If you like Cities1 it might be a no brainer to go for ultimate and get the content unique to it NOW, rather than wait till it's given to everyone free as they did in Cities1.

Also you get exclusive to anyone nonearly gamenoplay access.

I was thinking about ultimate, but then decided to go with the standard one. I won't need the radio stations so that alleged discount is a bit moot as savings can be made without buying the fairly useless radio channels. I bought most of them for C:S1 and whilst they are entertaining for a while, novelty wears off.

Don't forget that the UE also includes exclusive content and future DLC with an estimated cost saving of 20%.

If you plan to buy these DLC regardless of what it will be then its worth going for the UE,

I have taken the gamble and gone with the UE version.

Golden gate bridge from San Francisco pack, plus free dlc made me chose ultimate. I couldn't imagine playing without it and who knows when smth similar will be available in the workshop.

Value wise the pass will be worth based on Paradox's model as long as your going to come back later and actually use it. The thing is, content wise, Paradox always under delivers on content, so the value of the pass is more on the discount from bundling.

Nobody knows it yet if its worht it, usually it does not. I rarely buy a ultimate edition at release date. I buy like 50-100 games each year but only 1 or 2 is a ultimate edition at release.
I hyped for this game so i did buy the ultimate. I never recommend it though.

I stopped investing alot of money and time into AAA games with DLC and mostly started buying indie games in sales. Play have fun & move on. Instead off investing alot, be disapointed and frustrated and have the feeling you got scammed.
