Modding?
Please tell me we can mod this like the first one, otherwise there isn't going to be all that bustling a community around it..

I know, the game is not out yet so there is no way modders can do their magic. But I just had an idea I'm convinced is not in the base game. So here it goes:
What if there is a mod that lets you export your old map/safe-game from C:S1 to C:S2. I have no idea how complex this would be and might just be impossible, but hey, let me dream haha
Also, I would love to be able to import a height-map straight from the game...

Feel free to add your wish-list for modders.

Here are a few more from C:S 1 that I would love to see in C:S 2
- Image Overlay
- Procedural Objects
- Move It etc.
- TM:PE
- Road Builder (built in)
- all the great mods from T. D. W.
- all the great mods from macsergey
- etc.

TM:PE would be soo good to have it included in the base game or as a dlc

Not only will it be moddable, but we're already aware of the fact that multiple prominent modders already have access to the game and are working on mods ahead of launch.

And it seems that some of the good mods are in the base game.

When CS1 was upgraded with some of the features from Traffic President it still wasnt enough. Traffic president is still needed.

Some of the CS1 modders are now full time devs at Colossal Order. They have always been supporting the modding community.

Oi OP, reply to the post
It's nice to see modding can be a thing for CS2, given I've modded the crap out of CS1 in the past. I just hope that it is, it increases product longevity significantly.
