Yes you are right. Snowfall occurs, but there is no accumulation of ice on street or on house or on tree. There is no effect of season change in tree or tree leaves. The road maintenance car remove ice from street, but there is no ice on road. Tornado occurs, but sky is clear and blue. How is it possible? I don’t know what developers think about it.

Yeah, the tornado looked so bad. It was the first time I saw something and thought it looked better in CS1. Also not liking that we haven't seen any visuals for fall or spring. Hopefully these things are improved for the release version.

The videos are basically there to introduce the features, not the latest graphic details.

Some other aspects in that verson look bad as well - but were already promised to not look that way in the release version.

I really thought the Seasons/Climate video was the worst one so far. My impression is that they are unable to make all 4 seasons visually happen. I realize the footage is supposedly from a beta version of the game, but, honestly, that excuse is getting old. The list of issues is too long and keeps growing. It's really detracting from all of the good things they're including in CS2.

people dont understand what beta version means. They automatically assume what they see literal months (if not yrs) before a games release is exactly what its going to look like

It's just funny to me how many people will complain about the dumbest of things when there's a couple months before the actual release.

If the complainer's can do any better, by all means make your own game and do it better. Good luck.

As stated before it is a beta version in the videos, and if you look at the capture from the first video where the motorcycles had no riders and all kinds of crazy ♥♥♥♥, in the later videos those things are fixed. I am sure you will be happy when a tornado under black clouds rips your city to shreds in the final version. And when the modders sooner or later fix a cat 5 hurricane with a storm surge you can really be sadistic.

Beta is there to FIX, not to introduce new stuff.
Alpha is there to introduce new stuff, not fix it.

Beta is there to FIX, not to introduce new stuff.
Alpha is there to introduce new stuff, not fix it.

You have absolute no clue how developing works, in beta are the most stuff already introduced and the main focus is all about fixing Bugs.

If its an option, or a mod, Im going to disable seasons. And then set the city to ONE season and leave it at that. E.g. A Summer Season city, or a Autumn Season city. I dont want the seasons to change every 10 minutes.

According to Biffa the seasons take quite a long time to change, although that may be a problem too in the same way it's annoying to actually build anything at night because you can't see properly. I can imagine placing a road on snow covered terrain only to realise that it was too uneven to neatly build on.
