Yes my PC it's ready because i'm not gonna play this rip off with new pay DLC for a build.
I think I will buy Ultimate Edition, hope this edition have free access for future DLC
I respect the developer to make this game, I know this not easy but I really like city building games from my Childhood. First time I play Sim City 2000 in 2001.
Now I found good realistic building but I can't play CS1 because the mod destroy all with error, because every new update I get new error.
Hope the developer filter and tested the mod before upload the official worskhop, make easy for gamer just upload and play without error.

I wonder if it will take advantage of DirectStorage.

My PC will run it at launch but I think that by the time the game has enough content for me to want it, my PC will be too slow.

I think 64gb ddr5 will be enough, 96/128gb if you use something else while playing the game, processor, 13900/78003d minimum.

I'll buy it, but will hold off for next year to get myself an even better PC.

I've got a Ryzen 5600, 2060 Super, 32GB. I just built my PC in January using my old graphics card. I feel I should update both my CPU and graphics card but I really don't wanna buy a new CPU just yet. I'm on the fence about getting a new graphics card, I bought it in 2020 and would like to get another year out of it. I'm thinking it'll probably be fine if I just run the game on lower settings.

My spec: i9 9900K, 32gb ram, 4070 Ti. My planning upgrade to i9 14900K, 128gb with 4070 Ti in winter 2023 for CS2.

13th gen Intel i9-13900KF
64GB DDR5
Nvidia Geforce RTX 4090 (24GB VRAM)

No further upgrade planned atm. Last upgrade was end of last year. This machine needs to last a few years, it was too expensive. Damn you Nvidia.
It's good but not worth it 4090 still not powerful for 4K without DLSS3, what you think about 64Gb how much maximun assets you can get in CS1?
I use 4070 Ti because yeah worth it with price, I will upgrade when 5080 Ti release in 2025. But now I will waiting i9 14900K, hope i9 14th use new LGA and DDR6.

You need upgrade, 2060 are old, minimal you must upgrade 3070. But from my opinion just upgrade to RTX 4000 series because DLSS3 much increase the fps, but before you use DLSS3, your monitor must support G-Sync without G-Sync your screen will stutter minimal 140Hz but for the best 165Hz, 240Hz too expensive not worth it.
CS2 need powerful processor and RAM, not GPU. After developer said 51 tiles wow this amazing I must upgrade my PC.

True 64Gb more enough for gaming, but I think this not enough for mod in CS2. Because in CS1 downloaded assets going bigger more times, I don't know why, hope in CS2 this will be not happen.

I think you don't upgrade first, try first CS2 after release, and try your PC performance it's good or not. Save money first if you don't have more money, becasue if you wrong yeah your new PC not much function with your style.

Your processor are high end faster then 9900K do not need upgrade, I think you just upgrade the ram to 64GB and if you have more money upgrade to 4070 or buy second hand 3080 Ti.

Depends if they have the 12GB 3060, and if they do then there is no real need to upgrade.

As for myself I have an I7 8700K with 32GB and a RTX3060 12GB, and should be fine as I sit in the sweet spot, between the minimum and recommended requirements for the game in terms of CPU.

Same as me, it works fine but I wish my board could have more RAM.

If you don't use any mod or props in workshop this enough but the RAM not enough, my feeling this will be under 30 fps when make the city being extreme population, maybe like 35 tiles are crowd city...
