dual screen not working

When I try to set up the secondary monitor the game changes resolution to something super low. When I disable the secondary monitor, the resolution returns to normal.
Under no circumstances had I managed to get the secondary screen to show anything at all.

use windowed mode and expand the fa window

But then I will have one window just expanded - I want the other screen to act as a tactical map.

use the splitscreen like thing in game AND windowed mode.

right under the mass and power bars there is one with the pings and options. press the world option and a window will appear. click the "split" button and it will split the screen

if you want to go back to the normal mode do the same thing except click the "join" button.

Thanks! That helped a lot! BTW, I think I've found why the dual screen doesn't work - windows sees my audio equipment as a 3rd screen and it's presence seems to be messing up everything. I'll see with the headset as soon as it gets cold enough to put something over my ears without the fear of boiling what's left of my brain.

please explain more basic for the solution, so i can play with dual screen?

1) In the options menu, go to video.
2) Then for primary adapter select windowed.
3) Then stretch it across both screens. the main menu and game setup will be centered between the screens. I guess you could widen the window after setting up the game.
4) Once the game loads, press 'Home' and that will split the game into two different maps you can control. this works on a single monitor but we are making it split over two monitors which mimics the dual screen thing.

To undo the split screen thing, press 'End.'

I have Windows 10 64bits.

when my desktop had windows 10 (I went back to windows 7) it was able to use windowed mode.

There was a problem with windows 10 and dual screens with this game(and the 2nd), however since the last windows 10 patch its appears to be working again.

...But the sound doesn't work now, i can only listen music: all FX sound and voices were out...
