I definitely prefer to just download and install mods the old fashioned way and use the ingame mod manager. Additionally, FAF doesn't even give you any information about what a mod does. There's no changelogs for the mods I could find anywhere, and I had no idea what kind of changes BlackOps even made because there's no documentation with the download.
Where can I browse mods outside of FAF? Also, I just hate having external clients for my games. I like everything to be integrated.
recent updates killed the preset mods (except for phantom, murder party, and lab wars) and total mayhem and none of those mod makers are active in faf anymore. the only active mod makers are those that make ui mods.
the mod info stuff is up to the modder.
all I know if is game front but that is a pretty small selection.
